This striking looking gelding has all the makings of a lovely ARC type eventer. Devvy has 3 good paces and sits in a neat correct frame.
Super bold jumping and loves it - really enjoys his job. Great to ride in the open - happy on the buckle, not a hot or fizzy type, more woah than go (but not in a good way, would take the mickey if you let him be a suck).
We find Devvy super low fuss and very very easy to have around and super fun to ride. Will suit someone who can give him consistent work load and continue his education under saddle as he is still learning his craft.
He can be a bit behind the leg so does need a confident rider who can push him forward and get him to travel through, otherwise will go around like a camel.
Old trainer mentioned he doesn’t love a straight load but absolute delight in our angle and fell asleep with a 3yo dancing next to him today.
Beautiful to take off property, no lunge or working down, relaxed and fuss free. If he was ever to be ‘naughty’ he would put his head in the air and just make you work a little harder to collect. Never a hot or fizzy horse.
